Placing an Order:
To place an order on our website, please use our secure on-line shopping cart and enter your credit card information. If you would like to place an order by phone, please call us toll free at 1-800-734-0829, or to send your fax to 1-866-317-2091.
If you have questions regarding any of our house plans, you can also email us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at sales@homedesigncentral.com or give us a call.
Methods of Payment:
We proudly accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Sales Tax:
Sales tax will only be assessed for orders that are shipped to Louisiana (9%). All other states and countries are tax-exempt.
Shipping:
Home Design Central.com processes orders Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Central Standard Time, excluding Holidays. All house plans are shipped directly from the individual home designers. Home Design Central.com does not stock or ship any home plans.
Most items are shipped within 1-2 business days but please allow up to 14 working days for your delivery to arrive at your door. Any special ordered items will take longer and delivery times could be as long as 14-21 business days, depending on the shipping service level chosen.
Oversized orders may incur additional shipping charges. Incorrect or undeliverable addresses and refused shipments resulting in an item being "returned to shipper" will be charged for shipping fees.
Please note that, per UPS regulations, our designers are not currently able to ship to P.O. Boxes.
House Plan Modifications:
In the event that you would like to have modifications completed on your plans, contact us so that we can determine your needs and contact the designer of the plan to get a modification quote.
If you are satisfied with the quote and wish to move forward, you will first need to purchase either the "Reproducible", "PDF", or "CAD File" set from Home Design Central.com, and we will then put you in direct contact with the designer of the plan. All modification fees are paid seperately from the house plans, and are payable directly to the designer completing the modifications.
Rush Orders:
In the event you would like to request a rush order on any of the house plans at Home Design Central.com, please call us during normal business hours at 1-800-734-0829 or send us an email to sales@homedesigncentral.com. We will do whatever we can to accommodate you.
In these cases, we would recommend that you consider purchasing the "PDF File" plan package which can be emailed directly to you, many times, the same day. Also, rush orders are not available on modified plans.
Is my credit card and personal information secure?
Yes. Home Design Central.com utilizes industry-leader, Authorize.Net, for all payment processing. Authorize.net employs the latest 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions. In addition, Authorize.Net utilizes industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information. Authorize.Net is certified as compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard. You can rest assured that your personal and credit card information is safe.
Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO Shipping:
Shipping outside the continental U.S. and/or to APO/FPO addresses will require additional shipping charges. These fees will cover any taxes or duties so that you will not be responsible for any additional fees once your package arrives to your door. We will have to contact you and let you know what those additional charges will be.
Return & Exchange Policy:
Due to copyright concerns Home Design Central.com is not able to accept returns on any house plan product at this time. We will, however, assist you before making a house plan purchase with any questions that you might have about our home plans.
